Michelle Sanchez began working at Angones, McClure and Garcia as a law clerk in January 2007, during her first year of law school. Ms. Sanchez graduated with honors from Florida International University, College of Law, in 2009, ranking number one in her class.
During her law school career, she earned the position of Articles Editor of the FIU Law Review, clerk of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, and was a member of the Cuban American Law Society and the National Scholars Honor Society.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ms. Sanchez is fluent in Spanish. Prior to attending law school, she worked in marketing for three years. Ms. Sanchez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University in 2004, dual majoring in Marketing and Management Information Systems.
While at FIU, she was treasurer of her sorority Phi Mu Fraternity and a member of the Society of Collegiate Scholars. Ms. Sanchez attended high school at Miami Christian School and graduated as salutatorian of her class in 2000.
During her studies at FIU College of Law, Ms. Sanchez assisted the firm as a law clerk, where she provided support to the firm’s partners and associates. Upon admission to the Bar, she was asked to join the firm as an associate.
Ms. Sanchez is currently involved in litigation matters involving personal injury, premises liability, insurance defense and general litigation defense.
Ms. Sanchez is a member of the American Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, National Association of Professional Women, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute.
She is involved in her church, Alpha & Omega, and volunteers her time at the children’s ministry.
