HNBA National President, Román D. Hernández, address the American Bar Association (ABA) Board of Governors during their Mid-Year Conference. President Hernández provided insight on legislative issues of import to the HNBA. He also attended the Spirit of Excellence Awards Dinner, where the ABA recognized HNBA Member, Francisco Angones with the Spirit of Excellence Award. The HNBA is proud to congratulate Frank for this highly regarded recognition.

As a part of the ABA Federal Judges Program of the conference, HNBA co-sponsored a panel entitled, "A Wise Latina," which was attended by President Hernández and Melisa Lopez Franzen, President of the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association and HNBA liasion to the ABA Young Lawyers Division. The HNBA was recognized during the event for its co-sponsorship of this program.
