Biography:

Anthony R. Heary was born in Clearwater, Florida and attended Niagara Catholic High School in New York, where he was valedictorian of his senior class.  Mr. Heary earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002.  While in law school, he clerked for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General in Chicago, Illinois, spending time in their Appeals and Sexually Violent Predator Units.  He also served as an intern to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Heary worked at the State Attorney’s Office in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where he prosecuted thousands of criminal offenses, and took dozens of cases to jury verdict on behalf of the people of Miami-Dade County. Mr. Heary primarily handles wrongful death and personal injury litigation, products liability defense, property taxation matters, and other litigation matters at the firm.
