Biography:
Christopher L. McClure was born on September 22, 1970, in North Miami, Florida. A fourth-generation Miamian, Mr. McClure graduated from Gulliver Preparatory School before moving to Tallahassee, Florida to begin his studies at The Florida State University. At FSU, Chris was an active member of Lambda Chi Alpha, Scalphunters and the Panhellenic Association. After receiving his B.S. in 1993, Mr. McClure spent one year as a Child Support Enforcement Analyst for The Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. Mr. McClure thereafter attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi, an honorary fraternity. While in law school, Chris worked as a Certified Legal Intern with The Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, where he served as co-counsel in multiple criminal cases. Upon graduating from UM in 1997, Mr. McClure passed the Florida Bar and began working at the firm the very same year. Chris has devoted his practice to the representation of Employer/Carriers in the defense of worker’s compensation claims and in doing so, has obtained numerous, favorable verdicts for his clients. Mr. McClure is an active member of the Dade County Bar Association and served as a Director (Group II). Additionally, Mr. McClure is a Member of The Florida Bar, the Worker’s Compensation Section of The Florida Bar and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and has been honored in Florida Super Lawyers, and most recently in Florida Legal Elite publications. Mr. McClure has served as a certified instructor and lecturer to clients and adjusters on legal topics arising out of appellate decisions that impact the practice and administration of worker’s compensation law
