Workers' Compensation

Employers in recent years have grown increasingly concerned about the rapid escalation in workers compensation claims.  The firm represents employers, insurance carriers and self insured workers compensation funds in Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties in the defense of workers compensation claims.  With the constant amendments to the Florida workers compensation law, the firm also consults and advises its clients on non-litigated claims with the aim of helping them resolve complex legal issues.

The firm’s workers compensation clients include but are not limited to, both the Miami-Dade and Broward County School Boards, serviced by Gallagher Bassett Services Inc; the Latin Builders Association Workers Compensation Fund and BIC Safety Group, serviced by Crawford & Company; Sedanos Supermarkets, serviced by Johns Eastern Company; The Miami Herald Publishing  Company, serviced by Constitution State Service Company; The City of Coral Gables serviced by Gallagher Bassett Services Inc;  and The State of Florida. The firm is also panel counsel for the St. Paul/Travelers Insurance Company and First Commercial Claims Services/ First Commercial Insurance Company in workers compensation matters.
