Medical Malpractice and Other Health Care Services

The firm offers a range of services to health care institutions, physicians and self-insurance trusts which includes medical malpractice defense.  The firm monitors medical malpractice claims and formerly counseled a Florida self-insurance trust representing a dozen area hospitals.  As service agent for that trust, the firm assigned malpractice claims to independent adjusters, obtained technical experts, and supervised all lawsuits arising from those claims.  That included assisting in the selection of attorneys, evaluating all reported claims and negotiating settlement of claims.  In addition to defending medical malpractice claims, the firm provides legal advice to health care practitioners on administrative matters.
